Now that the new Housing Accessor has been set up (https://trueuo.com/threads/february-2026-patch-log.3845/#post-21665) I can announce that I have begun coding a system that will allow players to publicly list/immediately sell their houses.
House owners looking to sell any houses this way will soon be able to access the system from their house Ownership menu.
A new option called Toggle Public Sale (Off by default) will soon be available.
When selected it will, eventually, show a new warning menu explaining the rules/restrictions of the new system. It will also prompt you for, and confirm, the price you wish to sell the house for.
If confirmed it will toggle on, restrict the Trade House option (more on that below), and turn the house sign blue as a visual indicator that this is a house that can be purchased immediately.
Now, players will be able to click on the house sign once, access the new Buy context menu option, and purchase the house if they have the available funds. Once the player gets the acceptance menu and agrees to the price, the funds will immediately be withdrawn from the buyers account and deposited into the seller's account. The next time the seller logs on, or if they are already logged in, they will receive a notice that the house sold with the amount that was deposited.
Once a house is marked for public sale it will show up on the new Housing Status & Public Sales Register where other players will be able to see the house size, location, how much the seller wants for it, as well as create a vendor search style map to travel and view the house.
Once a house is marked for public sale a few restrictions go into place:
A system like this will need to be tested to some degree on a Heritage style test center. I will post future updates on that as well as reward individuals with unique Realtor themed items that help test and find potential exploits.

- this is to prevent potential exploits.
- To re-enable it you simply need to toggle off your public sale.
- The house cannot be customized while listed for public sale. Any customizations need to be made, or unmade, prior to selecting this method of sale.
- There can be no player vendors. Both owned/rented on the property. New vendors will be unplaceable while this setting is enabled.
- The house must be, and remain, public.
