Discussion VvV - Reward list overhaul/changes

  1. What rewards do people spend most of their VvV points on?
  2. What rewards on the VvV list are useless and could be removed?
If anyone who has been active in VvV past/present could comment on the above two questions below it would be appreciated.

I am looking at adding some new rewards to the VvV vendor to possibly encourage the collecting of VvV silver. Some may even be "limited time" artifacts. Since these have brittle and less durability we can get a little creative.

Example - Ophidian Epaulets with 10 SSI instead of 5.

Something else in consideration is possibly adding some bulk-ordered crafting/rare resources for points. Making VvV battles/town control farming potentially more rewarding/lucrative. If this happens the time between battles could be slightly increased from what it is now.

With the opening up of VvV potions being usable by anyone the intent was to possibly create a "farmable" consumable item that only VvV players could obtain but anyone could use. Expanding on this we try to find more items that are in high demand that could get added to the VvV system as a possible reward choice.

Honestly, almost all of the current prizes are useless. The exceptions are library talisman and crimson, maybe totem and mace and shield glasses for some.
I have never seen anyone in any tokuno VvV artifact and the only doom I saw in use was a totem and literally once an ornament and inquisitors resolution. Maybe if they were much stronger than the original artifacts it would make sense.
The armor pieces at the end of the reward list are also useless. They offer nothing more than the worst roll of runic reforge. Nobody buys it. Never.
Adding clothes with mods would be a good idea in my opinion. Items like shoes, robe, cloak body sash etc would be a good accessory. It would be worth considering.
I think that the rewards from VvV should at the same time accelerate the entry into the world of pvp for new players, but should also be attractive to those already rich. They can't be overpowered but should offer something people will want to collect silver for.
The second thing is VvV horse / ostard. Currently, it is more profitable to buy a new one than to keep the old one. I think the pet could be more expensive but not require silver afterwards. I would also add more mounts to the VvV system.

As for the resources you mentioned, what do you mean more specifically?
I would leave the resources to be resources, not PvP rewards.

Really tired of seeing development time wasted on a part of the game that only a small part of the community enjoys..
Last days there were many of 5v7 or even 6v8 fights. I think that's a lot more people than took part in the last fishing contest, for example.

I'm talking in general. Most servers I played on in the past.. PvP was almost non-exsistant.. No matter what devs tried.. Nothing changed..
