Expired Event Dragons Need Love Too - Starts Valentine’s Day Weekend 2026

Starting 2/14 and running until 2/22/2026 players will be able to go around and show dragons some love! However, be warned, not all will appreciate this gesture.

A special quest giver will be set up in Luna, and more information will be posted as we get closer to the start of the event.

The Valentine's Day Quest is now live - for early testing - and feedback/observed behaviors could cause changes between now and the "official" launch tomorrow.

Dragons need love too!

Cupid has been spotted in Luna near the Tenth Anniversary Rares Festival House (still looking for players to place free vendors!) and is offering a limited time quest.

Go around and use the event command [hug to hug 25 dragons and show them some love.

What counts as a dragon? Currently:

• Drakes
• Dragons
• Greater Dragons
• White Wyrms
• Serpentine Dragons
• Ancient Wyrms
• Shadow Wyrms

The dragon cannot be tamed/controlled, can not already be a paragon (more on that below), cannot be allured, and can not be part of a champion spawn.

While going around a showing your love to dragons be warned! There is a small (5%) chance that the dragon will become very upset. If this happens you will get a warning that you have upset the dragon and it will turn into a paragon. These special paragon dragons will drop a rare Hildebrant Dragon Egg, in some rare colors. These eggs are hatchable by tamers with at-least 100 animal taming skill and the pet will come in the color of the egg it was hatched from.

After completing the quest you will get a gift bag with a rose from one of your shard mates, two valentine's day cards, and one of 7 random rewards. Some returning from past valentine's day events, and some new.

Changes

• The Statue of a Loved Dragon will now come in a random assortment of hues, matching the eggs.
• The Whispering Roses will now come in a random assortment of hues, matching the eggs.

The rarity/variety of hues for eggs, statues, and roses is as follows:

• Common Hues, 70% chance:
  • 31, 40, 61, 96, 101, 111, 689, 718, 996, 1150, 1151, 1154, 1161, 1166, 1170, 1171, 1194
• Uncommon Hues, 20% chance:
  • 1259, 1254, 1266, 1271, 1278, 1281, 1911, 1912, 1913, 1914, 1915, 1916, 1917, 1918, 1919, 1920
• Rare Hues, 8% chance:

  • 2771, 2772, 2773, 2775, 2776, 2778, 2781, 2783, 2784, 2785

There will be an "end of event" Monster Bash on 2/22/2026 (Sunday) @ 9pm UTC (4pm EST).

After this Monster Bash the server will then be restarted to remove the hug command and quest. Prizes for all who attend.

The Hildebrant Dragon Eggs can now be hatched by tamers with at-least 100 Animal Taming.

Resolved an issue where shruken Hildebrant Dragons were appearing as large gems. (the default when no shrink data is supplied for a pet)

• To fix this you will need to unshrink and re-shrink any affected. The other ones will remain as pre-patched oddities.
• Please note when shrunk the pet type will be listed as Juvenile Umbrascales as that is what they really are. These special event ones just some with the special Hildebrant Dragon name.
